‎2 weeks ago, i purchased an iphone4s at Digi Centre. Back home, i noticed that my new iphone4s screen is yellowish tint compared to my other old iphone4. I went back to Digi Centre and voice out my complain to 1 of the customer service there. This lady told me that yes, Apple purposely make the screen tinted more yellowish so that our eyes will feel more comfortable looking at it and it's good for our eyes. I was so angry and I insisted her to file my complaint. Am still not satisfied with that i decided to browse through the internet to search for this issue. I found that in US there're a lot of people complaint about the same issue as mine and they got refund immediately without any question ask. Knowing that i got more frustrated on our consumer rights in Malaysia. I went to another main Digi Centre branch and complaint about the same issue. The customer service told me that yes there're a lot of people complaining on the same issue and what they do is they will allow us to claim for a warranty claim n i ask will we be getting a new set? The answer is NO! We can only get a refurbished set! This is not fair right? I purchased a new set of phone and the problem is on the phone but they will only claim a refurbished set for me? (*A refurbished phone means, there's a problem with the phone previously and after they repair it then they will send it out as a warranty claim phone for consumer. FIne, i said ok show me the claim phone. After checking on the so call new phone, i noticed that the yellowish tint problem is still there. This happens to all the 3 phones that i wanted to claim. So this means that all the refurbished unit have the same problem or are those unit that been returned or been claimed by others consumer? I got fed up and ask them whether i can change my iphone4s plan to another phone plan like Galaxy Note. They told me no coz this is not allowed and if i were to break the agreement then i will need to pay for the RM400 penalty fees! Am i still not happy and sad on my stupid iphone4s and am getting frustrated just by looking at the yellowish tint on my new iphone4s! Please advise what can i do now!
