My oversea friends were staying at Traders Hotel, they naturally ripped them off. For a 20 min drive to Ampang, cost them RM100. This was a trusted hotel taxi. Surcharges we didn't even know about especially the huge midnight surcharge apparently. After a few rides in the town on other taxis, they realized that the normal rate is about RM12 and even plus midnight surcharge is only RM24.

Luckily they asked for a business card:

There was nothing executive or special about this taxi except a nice cool air con breeze which is expected in all taxi's.

This taxi is embarrassing our country and leaves a very bad experience to our tourists.
