the Worst Services I have ever got!!!!

My sister had purchased a bed frame in 18 April 2010from Santorini Conceptual Furniture Sdn Bhd which is located at Kota Damansara and had made full payment before the delivery of the item as it was requested by Santorini. This company promised to deliver the item to us on 3rd May 2010 but Santorini has failed to make it true and the delivery of this item has been delayed till 4th June 2010. the worse thing happened that the bed frame's base was too high to be carried up to the upstairs’ (double-storey house). Santorini only realized this problem on that day as Santorini has never asked for the staircase's height from us. The workers from Santorini left the bed frames at our house and they had taken back the unsuitable bed frame’s base. After that, we have never received any phone calls from Santorini. We called them to ask for the solution and been told that they will make a 'foldable' bed frame base for us but we have to pay RM130 for it. Of course we were not agreed to pay for it. Finally they agreed to absorb RM80 and we will bear for the balance of RM50. We thought we will get the foldable base after we got the confirmation from Santorini on the delivery date. But again, they have never kept their promise. What bad services have been given to us were the REPEATABLE CHEATED PROMISES on the delivery of the 'foldable' bed frame’s base. We got so fed up and we decided to get a black & white confirmation from the boss of Santorini- Kevin. Finally, we were there at the show room of Santorini at Kota Damansara on 17/7/2010. Yes, we met up Kevin and he had written the delivery date which is to be delivered it to us on 20/7/2010 on the receipt with the extra sentence that was "remember to pay to delivery guy RM50. The worst thing happened that the employee of Santorini -Mike called us on Monday & said they can't deliver it to us on 20/7/2010. But will deliver it to us on 21/7/2010. Fine, they have break the promise again as Mike called us again on 21/7/2010 & said they will deliver it on 22/7/10. We received the final call from Mike & been told that they will delay the delivery again to tomorrow. We got so mad; we told Mike that they don't have to deliver the base to us anymore as we will arrange the delivery of the bed frames back to Santorini!!!! We want our money back!!!!!!What kind of services of this company is providing???????how unlucky we are!!!!! We want our money back!!!!!!!!!! How many times we were cheated by Santorini????????

    I totally agreed with you because this Santorini services is bad, now they dont allow me to change item when I pay deposit they said i can change item. they never mention the terms and condition and now i wanted to change they said got terms and conditions. Did you get back your money. I had pay deposit of Rm1500.00

    I am one of the victim too. I paid for expensive but fractured as well as dented furniture, I paid for super late delivery, I paid for Kevin to curse me!
    They ignored all my calls with regards to quality issue.
    I am really helpless now...

    i considered myself as one of the victim as well with santorini.. the so called regional manager kevin lee is damn snoobish and rude.. dunno how he become the boss as he has extremely bad customer service attitude... same thing, empty promises.. never bother to solve the problem.. from one person passing the responsibility to the next one.. i have spoken to delivery man, joanne, mike, jeff, mohamad, wani and the so called regional manager kevin lee.. for 1 month.. the small issues were not resolved... the interesting thing is the boss believes that the finger nail is able to tear out the leather seat.... if so, what sort of quality he has.. and ridiculous thing is that it's accused by the old chinese uncle who is a delivery man! in short, no good person in this company... whoever is reading this msg.. pls do not even bother consider buying things from them... pre sales service is considered ok, after sales services is too too too bad!!

    Guys, i plan to go to consumer dept to make the complain to claim back my money.. i have waited too long and got humiliated from the so called regional manager... i think it's enough for me to be waiting for the defects to be fixed.. i rather go and spend some more time to buy the similar stuff from other shops.... shall we all do the same?

    i'm a victim of santorini as well! i bought a sofa set cost around Rm5000 from tat stupid Santorini. Since we are not rushing to have new sofa so we ask them make it nicely and the delivery date is a month from the day we purchase. But who know they delivered wrong item twice in a row. At first, they delivery a wrong color and style sofa set which we believe is a display set coz its old and abit rosak at the wooden area. So after tat we go ther complaint, and they said will change asap. But who the hell knw tat, the second sofa they deliver is even worst, the color of the sofa is totally wrong! After tat we are so frustrated and call back tel them to change, but they said they ned around a month to help us fix it. Laz week is deadline, i make several call to the company and the salesperson, they juz keep delaying, and said wil call back...i'm realy feel helpless, and wanted so much to lodge a complaint at them! we must gather our power together to form a force.

    Hey all y frens, i juz lodge a complaint at http://www.nccc.org.my/v2/ against santorini's bad services. Please voice out, its not fair that we make full payment for a piece of crap. We must know our rights!

    I experienced the same bad service and bad attitude from the sales staff and the boss Kevin as well. We bought a sofa bed and an additional sofa cover from Santorini in August 2010 and they promised that they will deliver in 1 month but instead when the 1 month passes by there were no news and no calls from them. When we called them they said shipment were delayed and we need to wait for another month. When another month passes by, they said it has not arrived yet. We finally got our delivery in October after many complaints and frustrated calls to them and still our sofa cover was not delivered. We have not received our sofa cover until today. Please stay away from this retailer if you wish to avoid unnecessary frustrations and headaches!

    Hi all, it is no doubt that this company is terrible. They promised to deliver on the 30th November around 3-4pm and i waited till 7pm. I have been calling them for update at 5pm, 5.30pm,6.30 and 6.50pm. They just inform that it is on the way. At 7pm they finally inform that they cant make it and delivery will be arrange on 1st December at 12-1pm. At 11.30am, they called to inform that the lorry broke down and no delivery today. So they have to postpone to tomorrow. They will come around 11-12noon. They were here only at 1.30pm. OMG! Can the authorities take action against them. if they keep on advertising the The Star newspaper and many other consumer will get con just like us. I got to know them through the newspaper advertisement.

    dear all, i m another victim!!!! it just happened on me, i pay 4k to buy a "used" sofa... and i need to help to clean up/ touch up together with the indian delivery worker aka "professional service team" by Santorini. I had a worse experience/ customer service than buying a mineral water from 7-11. it was really a nightmare for me, and jz imagine it's my 1st sofa set for my 1st house. I feel so helpless like ShenH & YYY KL. Can we take suggestion from galong1223 and gather together to fight for our rights? I really hope we can do that. I do not curse ppl, but Kevin is really bad. Heartless company!!!
    Let's come out gather together and plan for our "redemption"!!!!!

    i havent got any reply from NCCC yet as well as that santorini. i will go nccc at sungai way to lodge the complain again, i gonna print out all urs complain and show them how bad the santorini doing.

    hi all,
    i already went to NCCC (sungai way) yesterday and lodged my complain, according to nccc they will send a letter to santorini within two weeks. if they didnt reply further action will be taken. The procedure of make complain is very easy, and the staff at nccc is very friendly as well. Ohya! i did pass them a copy of urs complain but tis will only show how poor santorini are, they cant do anything for u all coz they unable identify u all. So i hope u guys can spend some time go nccc to lodge your own report. Attached below with the map of nccc.

    Hi galong, where is the NCCC going to send the complain? To the HQ or the store? I was thinking of sending a formal complaint straight to the owners rather than to that Kevin.

    hey guys! Nccc did reply and they sent warning letter to santorini as well, but seems like they doenst afraid of the nccc and i havent got my sofa done!!!!! santorini did apologiz but they kep making mistake and empty promis again and again. so me and my family decided to take back our money, we dun wan to watse time on tis piece of crap...so i call back to nccc ask whether possible we take back our money, nccc told me tat we have to go TRIBUNAL TUNTUTAN PENGGUNA to claim our money back..its a court thingy which we have to attend the hearing. After i confirm everything i go back to santorini today and giv them laz warning...coz i dun wan so much trouble...but tat kevin told me nccc cant do anything to them and claim they got so much experience againts nccc (prove tat they realy doing bad), he said we cant take back money as long as they keep folow up, but the folow up is all crap and empty promis, i think he is abit runing out of his mind coz he talk alot of nonsense...sumore he raise his voice againts me, but in the end he make another deal which is giv him another month to fix everything..shud i trust him? you are right kkt we shud go confront tat kevin together!!!!

    hi galong, this kevin is a compulsive liar and a thug. Dont trust him! And does a simple problem need 1 month to fix, after so many weeks of waiting? I will call nccc to followup on Monday. I am more than willing to go to the tribunal together with you. Lets stand up for our rights and for ourselves. I hate bullies and cheats. If need be i will make a police report as he took our money and delivered nothing, thats a crime! I will advise the rest of the guys to make an e-Aduan with nccc, its online and simple to do. I am going all the way to get this guy. I am game to go with you to confront him. Lets decide when is the right time. Lets put in the effort and if we unite we have a much better chance.

    oh no! i just made a 30% deposit on furniture fr Santorini. i asked why the shop was on the 1st floor (typically furniture shops on ground floor) and was open only on weekends. Weekdays by appointment only. Kevin said his company has a franchise to supply furniture for projects overseas and hotels and what is sold in the shop are stock overruns, hence they are not open on weekdays as retailing to endusers is not the main business.

    He seemed so professional, honest and earnest.

    i wanted to check where the franchise is from and chanced upon this website.

    OMG my hard earned money!

    Has anyone managed to stop credit card payment? please please please share on how this can be done.

    If the business is a big con job, we should make a police report, report fraud to the credit card companies, write to the media and make a complain to our wakil rakyat (michael chong?)

    Has anyone checked who the directors of Santorini are and on their financials?

    If not, i could do that and share the info.

    Lastly to Kevin and to the directors/shareholders of Santorini, if you are reading this, you should make an official public statement if the complains are untrue or give your side of the story if any. Poor service will destroy your business and fraud is a crime and you could go to jail!!
